Tests

First water test of the Kerosene injectors.
The next video shows Kerosene injectors with a water flow. The video only shows the injector plate. At this test, the engine does not have thrust chamber neither outer jacket. I have built an aluminium test jacket. In the center of  the injector plate there are 4 injectors with 4 Oxygen holes and 8 Kerosene holes. The injector configuration is a tripet. The water pressure is about 2.5 Bar and the water flow is 0.1403 liters/second.

Next drawing shows simplified schematic drawing of the static test stand of the A-1 liquid propellant rocket engine. The system is a pressurized feed system. This system uses gas Helium or gas Nitrogen for pressurize the Kerosene tank with a pressure of about 27 Bar. The gas Oxigen system has a pressure of about 24 Bar. The Oxygen system and pressurized system  use gas steel standard cylinders. The pipe system is made with 6061 aluminium tubes. The sizes of aluminium tubes are ø6x4mm, ø10x8mm and ø12x10mm. All the fittings are made with stainless steel with AISI-316 grade.

Test support.
The picture below presents the test support of the engine. This support  is manufactured with aluminiumalloy 6061-T6.
